okay, I'll bite. what censure is involved in letterboxing?

The only one of Chaplin's film's that needs 'letterboxing' is his last - 'A COUNTESS FROM HONG KONG' which suffers from 'pan & scan' in the otherwise nice MCA/Universal VHS release.

Baring this, what could this guy be making such a fuss about? All of CC's other films are in approx. 1.33:1 fullscreen.
