Can anyone provide any info on Peggy Pearce who dated Chaplin while he was at Keystone? Information on her seems to be very sparse. And does anyone have a photo of Eric Campbell without his make-up, or know of where I could see one? Thanks. R.E. Lee

I'd suggest you hunt up 'Chaplin's Goliath,' a Scottish documentary on Campbell available from Kino on VHS.

I'm sure there are shots of Campbell without his makeup on (in addition to a few Mutual outtakes which didn't make 'Unknown Chaplin'.

Also, check David B. Pearson's web page at: http://silent-movies.com/Gents/Gents.html He has a shot of Eric we found in my grandfather's things after 'Goliath' had wrapped. (The link from the main page to the alphabetical listings was broken on my server this morning, though. David?)
