You sound contented. Maybe I'll join you in Shangra-la.

George was halfway making nice for awhile, but he's filing up his canines again.

you have once >> you leave George Shelps to stew in his >> own malodorous juices).

Well, I *told* you that if I stopped responding to him, he would turn around and start attacking you and David.

And boy was I right...

It's amazing how great it is not to have to read your malodorous lies about me.

Keep taking more time off, the both of you.

Actually, you clown, what you said was that I would begin to hold Connie in the same contempt that I hold you.

My feeling about Connie hasn't changed; she is a sincerely-motivated Chaplin partisan who clearly loves the man, and a forceful intellect with a wealth of erudition.

However she continues to question the good faith and intelligence of her opponents.

I do appreciate *your* current absorption in the development and promotion of your website.....I suggest that amc posters send in suggestions to Tom for new website ideas....a *lot* of them!

I tried reading the majority of this thread in one sitting, and it was tough sledding, with a lot of semantics here and there. can we (and I dunno, maybe we can't) agree on a few things?

a) it looks as if Langdon developed his charactherization prior to coming to the movies b) his best known feature films have Frank Capra associated with them (either as director or gag writer) and c) the majority of his feature films were not as successful as his studio wanted (anybody know the actual profit/Loss, by the way?)
