Hello, I hope someone might help me locate either a piano/organ reduction of the 1942 Gold Rush score, or point me towards cue sheets or other film music notes for the original 1925 score (was there one?). I believe UA released at least a cue sheet in 1925, did they do anything more in 1925?
If anyone has a cue sheet(s) or copy of one I was wondering if you might make it available.
I know that Timothy Brock and others have prepared full score restorations of the 1942 score to be played by live orchestra to the '25 version, are there reductions or even full scores available of these versions? Any help would be apprecaited.
I've played the pipe organ for an annual charity Silent Movie night and they are considering The Gold Rush for their fourth event. I've always composed or complied scores before, but I thought that since Chaplin had such a wonderful score I'd prefer to work from that material.
