Chaplin only made it through a few minutes of THE SOUND OF MUSIC before walking out. ( I've never been able to get all the through it myself!) Any other movies that CC *hated*? Richard Carnahan

I don't know if he 'hated' A HARD DAY'S NIGHT, but, according to the Robinson biography, he didn't think it was so new or innovative.

haha yes. I've read that in a book written about him. he waalked out on it and he shouted about how horrid a movie it was. I laughed, though my best friend was in the plaay haha. Chaplin disliked sound films period. he did say that he believed an actors true talent caame out during mime. I do completely agree
