In case anyone's interested, I've put together another jumble of Chaplin trivia, concerning things as varied as the Ku Klux Klan, the 1918 film 'Charlie in the Trenches,' Hays Office discipline and more. It'll only be there for a week, and the address is below.

Thanks, Chris. The Klan was only one of the 'religious' organizations who objected to _Pilgrim_, but it's interesting to know they were among them.

As for the Hays Office, the very notion of them trying to micromanage people's private lives makes me shudder. I wonder how long it took them to realize that this was none of their business. Chaplin was wise to keep his distance from them

As usual Chris, this stuff is great! The only thing better would be if you'd create an on-line archive of your past It columns. What a treasure trove of film history.

Thanks very much for your kind words, Rob... I don't think an online archive will ever happen, but I will be running some repeats beginning this summer.

In the meantime, my new column has some items concerning Jackie Coogan and Mabel Normand that you guys probably never knew before (address below).
