So, I thought that, with the help of knowledgeable Chaplin film print collectors such as Mr. Doug Sulpy, we could perhaps hammer out a master list of shots and intertitles missing from the Image Mutual DVDs, as well as alternate shots that have turned up. Here's what I've got so far, from what I've read here and from what Doug has told me:
EASY STREET - missing closeups (three different shots I think) of Eric being gassed, and a second shot of the police chief waving goodbye as he walks away at the end of the first reel. Some of the intertitles are missing or in the wrong place (details, anyone?). Closeup of Eric being gassed is different in European prints.
THE FLOORWALKER - Missing footage of Eric chasing Charlie down the escalator, missing shot of note read by Eric which helps explain the plot, missing intertitles (details?). There is an alternate shot with a mannequin (details?).
THE RINK - Missing bit from the end where Charlie loses his grip on the car and falls down in the road.
And that's all I've got.
If I've misconstrued any of the above, please correct, and above all, please add!

Hey Doug, do you have the copyright descriptions for all twelve of the Mutuals?

Thanks! Great to hear that David Shepard has secured a complete print of it! So, I'll add:
ONE A.M. - Missing sequence of Charlie donning an Alpine outfit and climbing the stairs, missing footage of Charlie standing on the table and spinning it, missing intertitles.

Also, if possible, where they have turned up, like what specific film / video / DVD print, compilation films or documentaries, etc.. It would both serve the perfectionists and completists, and

Yes, that would be extremely helpful as well.
And sometimes much more, as in THE FLOORWALKER and ONE A.M.
Do you have this? This is the first I've heard of this release! I'm trying to find a review of it, but I'm coming up empty. The description at Amazon says that the films have corrected intertitles and are mastered from better elements than previous DVD editions...hmmm...I wonder if any missing EASY STREET shots have been restored...

Yes, I (appropriately) picked this up when DVD shopping after SLAPSTICON. I've had the CD with Alloy's slapstick scores before so I was looking forward to this disc for quite a while. I've only seen half of it so far (I bought a *big* pile of discs while in the States) and

I posted this info before, but I'll mention it again.
PAWN SHOP - the first shot you should see in the film is the pawn shop proprietor pacing in FRONT of the counter, waiting for Charlie, followed by the usual scene with Edna making a pie, followed by a similar scene of the pawn shop proprietor pacing BEHIND the counter. So the Pawn Shop is missing the first few seconds on the Image release. I have this clip on VHS.
THE RINK - Doug Sulpy, I believe, described a scene to me that is missing. There's a part in the earlier half of the film where Charlie and the other waiter are fighting in the kitchen. If you pay attention to most any version of the film, you may notice two quick splices during this scene. I slow-mo'ed the clips one time to try and figure out what is going on that is missing. I sort of figured it out, but Doug (forgive me if I'm wrong) had actually seen the clip and explained it to me. Apparently, during their fight, the cook (Albert Austin) throws some food their way, and Charlie briefly stops the fight to catch the food on a plate.

Thanks Frodis; sorry about not catching your earlier post. Or, if I did catch it, I'm sorry about forgetting it. Another one I forgot that was previously posted here, I believe: in THE FIREMAN, there's a shot of Charlie and Leo White sitting on the end of the fire engine yelling FIRE to each

Ok, I'm trying to figure out just how the Alpine footage fits in...first, here's the excerpt of the copyright description from ONE A.M., originally posted by Doug Sulpy:
'...'What Detained You?'
queries Charlie of the bottles, as he rises and helps himself to a drink. He then drops his coat on the floor, clips his hat in a graceful somersault to the emu's head, and saying
'Good Night!'
starts up the right stairs to bed. After many failures to mount the stairs, he dons an Alpine climber's outfit, only to fail again.
'If I Could Yodle, I Could Make It.'
he murmurs as he rises undaunted for another try.
'I Must Try Another Route'
he says, but on the next attempt he is scared by a bear at the head of the left stairs. Crossing the room, he again essays to mount the right stair, but falls at the top, grasps the stair carpet and rolls to the bottom, completely enveloped in the stair covering...'
Now, to compare, here's a detailed description I made of these scenes in the familiar version, starting with the hat-on-the-emu gag:
Charlie flips his hat onto the emu's head, gets his foot stuck in the stuffed cat, kicks it loose, falls down, closeup reaction shot of Charlie, he gets up, says 'Good Night', and staggers up the left stairs. Doesn't make it, staggers back down, goes over to the table, pours a drink, tries to drink it, falls down, gets up, lights a match on his shoe, goes to ascend the left stairs again, and now there's a big JUMP CUT to a different shot of Charlie at the bottom of the left stairs. He ascends the left stairs, and now there's a black object on the left side of the third stair from the top that wasn't there before the jump cut. The pendulum knocks him back down the left stairs (and that black object along with him), closeup of Charlie straightening his nose, Charlie slides the rug across the floor to the right, climbs the right stairs, is frightened by the bear, descends the stairs, and glides the rug across the floor to the left until he hits the table. There's a closeup of Charlie while he searches his jacket for a match, then for some reason he gets up on the table, crawls at first while the table spins, then stands up and runs for a few seconds, there's a close-up (could the extra table-running footage mentioned by Lisa in the old thread have originally occurred right before or right after this closeup?), then Charlie falls off the table. Another close-up, then Charlie ascends the left stairs once more, grabs the top of the carpet, it comes loose, and he rolls down the left stairs inside the carpet.
Ok, now, obviously the copyright description has reversed the stairs, and also left out a bunch of details. Simple enough. My questions are:
1) Where does the Alpine outfit come from?
2) Since Charlie is wearing the same tuxedo later as he was earlier, where does the Alpine outfit disappear to?
3) Is that mysterious black object on the stairs part of it?
4) Since the description says after 'many attempts' to ascend the stairs, he dons the outfit, and in the current version there's only one attempt to ascend the stairs before the big jump cut (I'm assuming that the missing Alpine climbing scene is the reason for this jump cut), does that mean that a few more attempts were sliced out along with the Alpine climbing, or is the description simply not quite that accurate?
