Tom, I think your plot is a good idea, and I'd encourage you to write it. Only one problem that I fear is that today's studios wouldn't buy it. Unless if Lloyd has another resurgence of popularity as one of the Great Silent Three. Otherwise the plot sounds good.

I'm thinking of this more as an academic exercise than a serious idea.

Or if Jim Carrey decided he wanted to play Harold Lloyd, in which case the idea would get green-lighted tomorrow.
