There is a sheet music store in Springfield, MA that may very well have what you are searching for. It is Blodgett's music store at 111 Chestnut st. Springfield, MA. Phone #413-737-1147 Good luck. By the way, I am looking for 1 Chaplin film to complete my collection. Maybe you can help. It was a Keystone film released under the original title of Her Friend the Bandit, aka: Mabel's Flirtation, and The Theif Catcher. Any help in this matter would greatly be appreciated. Thank you. To Bill Goodwin, who wrote;

What a coincidence, that's the one I'm missing too!......... and Bruce is missing it too. And Phil and Leslie and David and Bonnie and Lori and George and Hannah and Gerald and Lou and the entire film world! Other than that,.........

Mr. Goodwin, I'm not being intentionally mean. Her Friend The Bandit is the one lost Chaplin film and collectors of not just Chaplin but historians of the film community consider it to be among the 'holy grails' of filmdom. Your post just struck me funny that you would ask for the film in a matter of fact way. Nothing personal, sir. By the way, I need a copy of 'London After Midnight' to complete my vampire collection. Any help?

Sean , you didn't know about London After Midnight? I had it and lent it to a friend who had a fire and lost everything. He also borrowed my 7 1/2 hour version of Greed too. Oh, well. They will turn up again someday. Do you have a copy of THE ROGUE SONG? My copy is in black and white and I'm looking for the color version.

I hope that wasn't the same guy I lent the first reel of L&H's Battle of the Century too.

Sean, The first reel of BATTLE survives. It's most of the second reel that is missing. However, HATS OFF is a film I love to show at parties!

And Richard, thanks, but I have the long GOLD RUSH. I would like to see all that Chaplin lost Hot Dog footage, though.
