I wanted to ask David Totheroh about his granddad's lengthy & informative interview in the magazine FILM CULTURE from 1972. I have a copy of it & it is as relevant to me as anything that Chaplin had written. Rollie goes on & on about Chaplin's working methods & personality, in a way that is not duplicated elsewhere. I wonder if you can add some insight about these taped interviews & is there anything that was purposely omitted from the transcript.

Long, long out of print. Doubtful if you'll find it. Possible bet is used bookstores. What I will do however is send you a xerox if you'll send me your address. And if you'll offset the cost of copying & postage (around $5, I'd say). The same will go for whoever else wants a copy. Just e-mail me first.
