While browsing at my local music shop this weekend, I noticed a hefty CD box set I'd never seen before entitled 'Round The Town: Following Grandfather’s Footsteps/A Night at the London Music Halls'. It's a 4-CD set that comes with what is likely an exhaustively-researched 132-page book (the set is put out by the German company Bear Family; those of you who are familiar with Bear Family can probably attest to the amount of loving care and scholarship that they typically put into all of the recordings they release). I thought this would be of interest to some of you, and was curious as to whether anyone here had this set. It looks fascinating, and I'm probably going to pick it up sooner or later.
