Had the pleasure of seeing A Dog's Life on an old reel to reel film at Hollywood Theatre here in Auckland New Zealand. It was absolutely brilliant. There was just myself and one other person who watched it in this really old victorian style theatre. There were some great scenes, in particular the one where Charlie uses the dog as a pillow ... a very touching and funny story.

Just you and one other person? This reminds me of when I saw the Irish pianist Phil Coulter perform. The audience was small and he left us with these final touching words, 'Go forth and multiply.'

Glad you liked it, Paul. Don't stop there. There's much more joy where that came from.

The dog, by the way, was allegedly drunk during that scene.

I wish I was there with you. I can't get enough of Chaplin on the silver screen.

Speaking of A Dog's Life - it seems to me that Scraps the dog was a male dog, or am I seeing things? Cute though, the way he had puppies
