Hi All: On the promo dvd for the upcoming documentary 'Charlie', there's a clip of an interview with David Raksin. Raksin says that CC was operating the table and mechanics of the feeding machine in MT himself. I don't think I buy that. Has anyone ever heard that before from any other source? If it's true, then can we be even more impressed by that scene???
Woody is also part of the doc. On the promo dvd, which I assume most of you have already, Woody talks about CL and the great acting CC does. Can't wait to see the entire documentary.

In the book Charlie Chaplin: A Photo Diary, there are two pictures of Chaplin, out of costume, rehearsing this scene in the feeding machine. One of his hands is to the side of it, cranking a lever which operated the 'corn-feeder.'
