Dave Pearson works hard to maintain great websites on silent performers and keeps their names and images alive. I think he has done exceptionally well in restoring more dignity to the work of Roscoe Arbuckle, among others. He is one of the film buff people whom I respect most.

I don't check alt.movies.chaplin for a couple of days and look what I find...

First of all, my thanks to you all and your kind comments about me and my websites. The Apple Newsletter thing was a complete surprise, as I only found out about it two days after the issue came out
