I saw a Charlie Chaplin musical box from 1973 on eBay for $16. I don't think it is a decanter too.

These ceramic musical decanters date from the late 1960's to early 1970's, they appear on the american ebay auctions fairly often. The prices are anything from a few dollars up to about $25 depending who wants them at the time. There are about 4 different Chaplin's and the one showing him fishing is by far the rarest. Straying from the Chaplin examples there are about 200 different designs of these musical decanters to look out for if you collect them, the number of collectors worldwide is gradually growing but they havn't yet started to sell for big sums ! Hope this helps

Just a follow on to my last reply: I said the fishing Charlie Chaplin decanter was the rarest design, I must apologise because I should have said it was a golfing design, with the title "Hold That Tiger" on the base, there are fishing designs in the series but Charlie didn't feature in these designs.
