I hope that's low on your list of disappointments. I thought the book was a piece of trash.

Yeah, I thought it was a little churlish of Oona to be disappointed in all her children because none of them measured up to Charile or Eugene. Geradine has been consistantly working for thirty years and has amassed a body of work that anyone would be proud of. 'Mother Theresa' may be her best performance yet. It certainly gives her the broadest canvas she has yet had.

I have to say this-I thought Geraldine's introduction to Unknown Chaplin was so hammed and overacted, complete with sigh , that I winced and always fastforward through it. (with my dukes up)

Yes, she was very good in the role!!! Big A++ from me!!!!

I'm glad to see she's gotten such a good part to play. I'm hoping this will cause an upward surge in Geraldine's career! She has the talent to do so much more than she's done lately. I hope there are more roles such as this ahead.

BTW...if you've missed it, it re-airs on FAM on Saturday at 8pm.

I agree. The introduction was completely unnecessary.

Maybe she had a little too much wine at lunch or something. That might explain it.

The rubber phobia was good, but I think her attempt to make the final speech of _GD_ into Communist propaganda really shows her at the top of her form.
