Chaplin Film Fest in DC, 04/18/98

You're good...I scoured the Post for that info and finally got it off WTOP radio and then the web site I listed in my next post on the subject.

Doesn't look like something I'll go to see. The radio was saying that one of the films was 'The Adventurer'. I think that it'd be better with 'One AM'. I hope the folks get to see that one. I like it much better! Can't bring myself to drive 30 miles to pay $24 to see movies I have in my video collection...even WITH the Ragtime Orchestra! Either I don't have a concept of what CC on the big screen is like ot I'm very cheap !

Go. You won't regret it. It is amazing to see Chaplin on the big screen with an appreciative audience. (And every audience I have seen him with has been appreciative!) I'm as cheap as the next guy, but I can't resist. I even drove from Baltimore to New York for a couple of evenings of Film Forum Festival.

I can't wait. (I'm be at the later show. I hear the early show features only The Kid.)

Does anybody know if these Chaplin films will ever come to Dallas? I know they were in Houston recently, but Feb is a bad month for me to travel.
