This sounds like at least a partial lie, if not a flat-out lie. Paging Mr. Shepard! What were the previous discs mastered from? I'm pretty sure they weren't all mastered from the old LD masters. They couldn't have been given the frame manipulations during the transfers previously disclosed here...
