I'm not sure if there's anybody reading this newsgroup anymore ( a real pity) but I thought I'd pass this along:

Just thought I'd mention to Chaplin fans that some of the out of print Image DVD's are still available at Borders Books. If your from the Boston area and close to the Peabody, MA Borders Books store, I saw the box set (City Lights, Modern Times, Great Dictator, and Gold Rush) for $49.99. I also saw Gold Rush, First National Collection, Monsieur Verdoux, and Limelight for $12.99 each. Strangely, City Lights was still selling for $28.99.

I passed as I already own them but had to think twice at those prices.

The Circus was also $28.99 at our Borders in Lawrence. However, Gold Rush, Great Dictator, First National Collection, Msr. Verdoux and King in New York were all $12.99 (any not listed here were not on display). I got a four pack, Msr. Verdoux and First National Collection.

BTW, to clarify, I found the discs in Lawrence KANSAS. Sorry if I led anyone to believe it was a Lawrence in another state.
