I'm hoping to make at least one day. Hopefully, there will be others from A.M.C in attendance.

This would be great if we could all schedule a day with which to meet & watch a movie together. It'd be great to see a number of us there (my one worry is that I may have to work on weekend nights). And I could even imagine that Tom & George would be able to enjoy a few good laughs together watching the Immortal Tramp on screen.

Okay, I just got back from the first screening of the CC pictures on Long Island. They showed THE CHAPLIN REVIEW for an afternoon audience. The theater seats about 70; and there were about 20 people.

There weren't many laughs in the beginning of the picture; which is always disheartening. You feel so self-conscious being the first to let out a loud laugh. There were mostly smiles until the gag when Charlie used the dog's tail to feed it milk.

The theater has been advertising some of the screenings as 'Summertime Kids Matinees from the King of Comedy.'

And it was great to see and hear kids laughing.

If anyone is interested in going, it's at the Cinema Arts Centre, 423 Park Avenue, Huntington, Long Island, NY

Directions: Take Long Island Expressway to Exit 49N; travel 6-6 1/2 miles north along Route 110 to Main Street; Make right then travel about one mile to Park Avenue; make right. It's right there.
